Last week was one of those weeks where the perks of working at the Pristine Asylum were placed on the table. By this I mean that we get to go on road trips to certain places in Negros Oriental – or even to other provinces.
This time around, I joined some of my colleagues on a check up trip to Jimalalud, Tayasan, Ayungon, and Manjuyod. We were there to do some troubleshooting, minor training, and a bunch of other crazy things. We also had to talk to the Mayor of the Municipality of La Libertad for some concerns regarding our work.
Now during our talk with the Mayor, we were fortunate enough to meet him at La Limar Resort. You have to understand that I have never been to La Limar before this experience, and to say that I was awestruck by the beauty of the place would be an understatement.
Okay, so I know that there are other fancy resorts in Negros Oriental, but there was just something about La Limar that took my breath away. From the outside, it doesn’t look that sosy or something because it looks like our regular beaches – not exactly “resort material”. Boy was I surprised when I felt the cool breeze and saw the wonderful infinity pool.
Here, check out some of the pictures that I took from the resort. It’s quite affordable with its Php. 50.00 per adult head for a day of swimming (Php. 30.00 per child), or Php. 1,400.00 for an overnight stay – good for 6 people. That’s quite a steal already, yes? Anyway, here you go.. I keep stalling.. LOL [WARNING: LOTSA LOTSA PICTURES AHEAD!!!]

Hey all, how is your long week? Me, I am so tired… So tired that I keep asking people for hugs – even online, but not so much offline. Since my last post, let’s just say that a lot of things has happened. I need to write them down so as to unload some of the weight that feels like lead in my heart, brain, and.. soul? This is bound to be a long post, so sit back, grab some coffee, and start hitting the down button.. or the mousewheel, whichever floats your boat.
Okay, I never thought I would go back to school. Sure, I mean, I always wanted to, but knowing myself to be a very deliquent student, I feared going back to school. I guess I lost the fear because last Monday, I enrolled myself at a Masters program at Silliman University. We have classes every Saturday only, which is cool – that means I have to go to school tomorrow. Hopefully, we will just get loads of assignments and be dismissed early so I can grab some Zzzs.. So that will be three subjects, that are computer related, of course, but I think this is somewhat geared for higher positions such as project management.
