My December so far

I think it would be safe to conclude that December 15 marks half of December. Right? How did your december go so far?

My December is going well, dear friends. Despite set backs and all that jazz, I am pretty much trudging along the fine lines of survival and surviving. The need to provide gives me that much needed boost, but nothing to worry about. I know somehow, somewhere, I will be able to find something. :)

At any rate, the freedom that December is offering me is pretty much giving me much happiness that I never thought possible. These days I get to have more rest and more time to just go around town window shopping, and bonding with the kiddoz. Of course, things always happen for a reason, and with the freedom I have, I am now able to put the pedal to the metal and just work on my endeavours and what not. What is it? Check up above my site. Can you see Biz Services and Options as well as Bookmarking Services? Those two are my extended babies and I have been working on that full blast at the start of this month. I hope to be able to make waves with that in the near future. :)

Anyway, Christmas is here and as a treat, I would like to let you take a peek into my world at camp minus prison. I am posting just three pictures because I do not really want to crowd my website and increase the loading time.

Going nuts over webhosts

Something went wrong with my website’s webmail. I wouldn’t have noticed it really if Maree had not raised some concerns over her webmail. Hah! I wondered why I wasn’t getting any emails.

My webhost provider had cut of the webmail temporarily because of some wayward emails. However, the bad thing was that we did not get any emails regarding the disconnected webmail. And that part was the bad part.

Oh well, you really can’t do anything with that. There are many web hosting companies out there anyway. I tried hosting my blogs on other web hosts but I think I found one where I could get a good deal.

The web hosting package is from McKremie Web Hosting. What I like about their offers is that there is one package for businesses, which I believe will do good for my *ehem* business. I guess the best part I’ve heard about this company is that they answer quickly when you have web hosting questions to ask.

Oh well, I don’t know if I should transfer soon. All this moving around gets tiresome after a while. Anyway, I was tinkering about the web host’s website and found this interesting McKremie, LLC Interview. It’s nice.. it makes me want to consider going into the web hosting business. LOL

In due time… in due time…

Little girl turns 3!

Yesterday, my little girl turned 3 years old! :)

WOW! Time does fly so fast… I was just musing the other day how when I started at camp minus prison, Sophie was just 3 months old. Now, she is 3 years old! Imagine that?

I can think of so many things we have gone through and I am so utterly happy that she is growing into a healthy little girl with an inquisitive mind, and a very active mouth. :) I have already stated before the kind of personality my daughter possesses, and I am very proud of her. How proud can a mother get? :)

Anyway, our little celebration yesterday was a bit small, but good enough to feed the family here. Hehehe it was just our way of saying thanks for the wonderful years my daughter has and for those that are yet to come.

We were supposed to hit the beach today, but with the unstable, so I decided to put it off. I just made sure she got what she wanted for her birthday. How did I know what she wanted? Check out this conversation D and Sophie had around 3 days ago while I had my back turned:

*Sophie brushing her hair while watching TV*
D: wow.. pa gwapa man.. gwapa ka day? [wow...(i dont know how to translate this part) .. are you beautiful little girl?]
Sophie: oo.. gwapa! [yes! beautiful!]
D: ahh… asa man ka kaliwat? [who do you look like?]
Sophie: ni mama.. gwapa man si mama. [mama. mama is beautiful.]
D: mubah? dli diay ka liwat nako? [really? don't you look like me?]
Sophie: dili.. liwat ko mama! [no... i look like mama!]
D: *laughs* pa sipsip ra ka mama nimo sa? [you're just flattering your mom huh]
Sophie: *giggles* oo.. para palitan ko mama lechon, cake, ug ice cream sa akong birthday!yeahp! so she will buy me lechon, cake, and ice cream for my birthday!]
[

Gah! You have got to love a child who already thinks like that. LOL So honest, too! Hehehe I really could not help but laugh. And yes, she got her lechon (lechon manok anyway because she really did not specify.. :P ), cake, and ice cream. We had a blast, and even Frankie enjoyed every minute of it. Hehehe..

Happy Birthday, little girl!

Some pictures were taken last night, and they can be viewed HERE. Enjoy!

A GREAT way to drink GREEN TEA

My friends have been pushing me to quit on my caffeine induced life and replace it with green tea. Sadly, my stomach balks at even the slightest taste of grass so I honestly have a hard time even getting green tea past my tongue. It’s like this, I take a taste of  green tea, and in less than a second, I spit it out or it comes out in a more *blech* manner.

I raised this problem with downing green tea with friends, and they have suggested the use of honey together with the drink. I am sure it would work had I bought honey – which is priced at Php. 118 a small bottle. However, since I am trying to save these days, I did not buy honey. But I still wanted to switch to green tea.

Now I had a lengthy talk with XSIS during my grandfather’s wake and she told me that she had succesfully migrated to green tea. That is surely a feat since I do know for a fact that XSIS loves her coffee. Suffice it to say that I had to badger her for her secret to success. Honestly, I do consult her regarding a lot of things and I do cower when she gets mad. She is one of my closest friends, including Ehn, Z, Gerard, etc.

AWAKE and rambling

I know, I know. I should be asleep. I did try to sleep, you know. But as I lay in bed, I could not manage to get my eyes to close. Oh the bed was so soft and inviting, and in usual situations I would fall asleep within the first 10 minutes of lying in bed. This time, I am not as fortunate.

At least, now I think I can do the things that I ultimately need to do before the tomorrow ends. Seriously, I have lots to do. I need some kind of power cord attached to me. However, before I do exactly what I am supposed to do, let me unload my weary mind and blog the things I need to remember before I forget. Seriously, Gerard’s power is THAT strong, it affects me even if I have not seen my friend in over a month. Yeah, he did not even go to my grandfather’s wake. Oh well.. must have been so busy.

Here are my snippets:
