Anthology of Snippets

My name is Lorselle Ann, but my friends prefer to “lovingly” call me “Lurchie.” I tried to go by the name “Ann” but they say it doesn’t become me. That’s because I am never dainty. “Ann” sounds like a good girl you see – and I AM Good, mind you! Nevertheless, “Lurchie” it is.

I’m 25 years old, a mother of 2 rambunctious toddlers, a wife of a computer addict husband, and a closet nutcase. Basically, that would be the all of me.

I graduated from Silliman University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2005. Currently, I am trying hard to make use of the so-called knowledge gathered when I spent a good 4 years of my life in college learning about computers.

By trade, I work as a programmer for a company that has an agreement or something with the Philippines. I used to be a professional copy editor before I the Force reawakened my skills as a software developer. On the side, I dabble as a part-time copy editor, a freelance writer, a database maintenance tagger and researcher, a blogger, a web entrepreneur, a marketer, a walking help desk, and most of all, a mother. What I would really like to be is to be a great programmer, and develop a virus that only I could fix. [insert Mandark laugh: AhHaHa AhHaHaHa!] But that might not be anywhere close as of yet.

In my spare time, I read books/ebooks, write, play with my babies, play Plants vs Zombies, FarmTown, PetSociety,  go around town, hang out with SPies, BuLuYaGoNz, the GTZ peeps, my cousins and siblings, and other barkada, window-shop (that’s ‘coz I really do not have a lot of cash. Care to donate? ), and I try to run, dance, walk, or play badminton. If given the chance, I would like to play basketball again.

I would like to own a Bugatti Veyron someday.
