I guess we never really grow old dreaming of faraway places and magical worlds. I’ve been traveling for a while now, dreaming of life in certain places that have a different lifestyle than the one we are used to.
This time, we travel to Taborea. Taborea is the name of the area where the game “Runes of Magic” take place. I would prefer to stay in Ravenfell or Elven Island. Now, to be honest, I have no idea what the game looks like really, but from the looks of the map, both places should be ideal to start at.

If I lived in Taborea, I would most definitely be a Rogue. I imagine myself to have long hair, awesome body (toned and fit), and wearing skimpy clothing.
No, I HAVE to be wear skimpy clothing in robes and boots with plates and a bustier of sorts because I have to be quick and stealthy. If I wore a lot of armor, my movements would be restricted and I do need to move fast enough to escape … escape those who I just fooled. I used a character generator to come up with what I would definitely look like while in Taborea:
I call myself “Anja”
I want to have a home or some kind of headquarters up on the treetops. That way, I can spy on people moving about, and perhaps scout my next prey or victims. Oi, I know I would not harm anybody! Besides, Rogues are not that well built so it would make sense if I stayed in a home on top of the trees so I could escape from others as well. Think of it as a defensive-offensive location.
I prefer to use two ninjaken (ninja sword) because these are light yet still quite effective. And I lurk around corners and alleyways while trying to go through my day. I do have friends who are not Rogues. I have a good friend who is a Mage, and another who is a Priest. Both of them disapprove of my lifestyle but they do lend a hand every now and then especially when I get into serious trouble with some Knights.
Still, a Rogue’s gotta do what a Rogue’s gotta do to survive, so I stick to what I know. Yes, I may be sneaky, but life in Taborea is never easy. There are these monsters, right? And we do need to deal with them.. It’s just that sometimes those who are in a group with me often do not trust me because I have this reputation of being a bit sneaky.
Ah but Taborea is definitely a wonderful place to stay at. So many interesting people to talk to and meet. At the same time, my life is never boring because I do have all these quests to finish. From afar, Taborea looks so small, but the more I think about it, that is just a whole lot of land for a Rogue to travel – and so many people I can cheat meet! LOL

Thanks for going on my small imagination trip to Taborea. I do adore Rogues. At every chance I get of trying to be a Rogue, I would most definitely take it. LOL
If you were to live in Taborea, what would you be and what do you reckon you would be doing there? Oh do tell! Or you can check this out: READ.

I like the idea of living in tree tops as well.
If you have the time, please drop by and comment on my entry too. Ty
Good luck to us both!
For some reason, looking at the map reminds me of the DragonLance series. Taborea looks good, especially the elven island. I’d stay in Varanas or Silverspring.
