Your DIGITAL footprints, that is.
I am in a bit of a stump right now, and a slew of articles have my name on it. So I figured, why not stretch my brain muscles a bit and see how far I can let my brain reach into the depths of Internet abyss? Actually, my teacher/friend’s blog inspired me to make this post as a bit of a tribute to the Internet and my 11 years of roaming around the World Wide Web.
First, let me ask you this question:
How many Internet accounts do you have and are these still active?
Me? Oh I do not have a lot of accounts online. Hrhrhr.. you can ask my friends if they can keep up with all the accounts I have, I’m sure they can answer you the number. However, if I had to answer you, I could say: I HAVE NO IDEA. Lainee calls me a person suffering from split personality, but I beg to differ. How about you tell me what you think after I TRY to remember everything? Oh, there will be no links.. heeheehee hop on memory train and let’s see what I did…
I started using the Internet in 1998. I got addicted to mIRC and playing games. My first nick on mIRC #dumaguete channel was ‘smooches_oui‘. That would be 2nd year high school me. Next nick that still stuck until now is ‘lurchelle‘, and that would be that.
Now, I shall make a list and just indicate how many accounts I have with the website or something like that…

…uhm.. That should be all for now, I know I have other accounts, but if I revealed them to you, you might say I am an Internet addict, which I am NOT by the way. I am just a normal Internet user. I am pretty sure nobody’s jaw dropped with what I shared. But it does feel good to be able to delve into my memories and extract what can be extracted.
You know, I did not get my first computer until 2001, and back in 1998-2001, I had to use computers in Internet cafes, and some of these Internet cafes even billed users Php. 50.00 or so.
I will not disclose other websites I have accounts with, like Google Wave, Reddit, Furl, Digg, forums, and all that other stuff because… … just ‘coz! However, if you ask me what Instant Messaging systems I am online at everyday, these would be: GTalk, AIM, Skype, and Yahoo Messenger.
Oh don’t ask how many IM accounts I have.. shhhh…
Well, that was fun. Now I shall proceed with my regular programming. hrhrhrhr…
