Run it like a runny nose
Well, sorry for the “runny” title, but I cannot help it if sneezes and coughs are all that come to mind right now. Eh. I wish I could say that the sun rose oh so brightly today, but seriously, I dream of nice hot soup – noodles with eggs floating about or nice chikon broth with snips of fresh onion leaves floating about – lying in bed with the covers all the way up to my chin, hugging my pillows and watching Dead Poets Society, Julie and Julia, Sherlock Holmes,Love Happens, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and all those nice movies I have stocked in my hard drive. Oh I could also re-watch Weeds, too! Wouldn’t that be grand?
Instead, here I am typing away into the world – does anybody even bother reading this blog? To my handful of readers, grazie! What would my blog be without your constant patronage?
Oh don’t go into a tirade of why I am sick. I am not sick because I am over fatigued, nor am I sick because I lack sleep. I do get hours of sleep, you know. Somewhere between 12 a.m. and 3 or 4 a.m. is fine with me. Oh and workaholic I am most definitely not! I love movies, photographs, and nice artsy fartsy ventures. hrhrhrhr
I actually started watching Dead Poets Society today, which was one of the reasons why I did not want to go to work today. Shhh.. I shall post my review about the movie as soon as I finish though, but for now I have strayed over to Julie and Julie. Heh. It’s also about blogging, right? Interesting. I do hope Little Lulu will be inspired to make a blog too.
Today was interesting as I had lunch with an old friend whom we shall hereby call “Olive”. Olive gave me lipgoss and a cute bottle of lotion, plus a very cute coin purse to boot! Awesome! Thank you, Olive! 
We had lunch at CB or City Burger, where we had roasted chicken, papaya salad or atchara, and chicken skin. Yum yum yum! I should have taken pictures, but see, I forgot because I was in a hurry.
I like the fact that I got to explore another possibility of earning a bit of moolah, but that is just quite tentative, you know. I shall think about that later.
As it is, I am knee deep in financial problems because of the two months of rather unfortunate trials, but I know I shall be able to bounce back later on. What is an awesome SuperGirl if not her ability to bounce back higher? Yeah, blah blah blah.. I wallow in misery and I try my best to hide it from you. shhhh.. just pretend you cannot see it. 
Ah well, I guess the weekend is just starting and I have lotsa movies to watch. Heeheehee.. Dude I totally wish to curl in bed right now. That is just not possible right now. The kids, they want me. LOL. And I shall provide them with my attention…!!
Tah tah for now. I shall be back tomorrow with more stories to tell.
