The hammock and I

Good morning folks! I just thought I should drop by early today and wish everybody a great day ahead.

Yesterday, I spent the whole day running around trying to accomplish as many tasks as possible. I should have worn my SuperGirl badge, but I was just too sweaty and hectic to wear it properly. I feared it might snag on something while I was hustling and bustling, so I left it at home.

One of the places I flew off to was the home of Mama Biok. She’s a neighbor from the ‘burbs, and I had asked her to make some good ol’ dinuldog for the last prayer of my father-in-law. Since we got there so quite early in the morning, I took some time to test out their hammock with my weight. Heehee..

Oh sure, they must have expected the hammock to break or something, but it did not! :D I guess I must have lost a bit of weight huh?

Dude, swaying around under the shade of the trees, feeling the cool wind was definitely enough to tempt me to truly snooze. You know the story of Juan Tamad (John the Lazy (?)) where he was lying under the guava tree with his mouth open, waiting for the guava to fall right into his mouth.. or something like that. I can almost relate to the feeling where I would rather kick my heels up and wait for everything else to be finished without my efforts. Hahahaha but we know that is just wishful thinking huh?

Oh well.

I thought I would have all of the work done by last night, unfortunately my Internet connection disappeared, and it made its reappearance just this morning. How quaint, when the rest of the world is waiting for me and my presence!! Hurrah for crazy Internet connections, and hurrah for blogging.

Now my can-do juice is chilled and ready, let’s all make this a cruisin’ and productive day. ;)

Cheers!
