Happy feet

Okay so today was not at all that bad. It was almost as bad as yesterday, but not quite, really. Not quite at all. I guess the fact that I had blogged my feelings off must have some sort of calming effect on me that I did manage to scrape through the day with nary a cat fight, brawl, or whatever you want to call the act of punching somebody’s face.

The day started with bushels of sunshine and a smiling face. I believe I looked particularly swell today. A bit thinner, if I may add. I rushed off to work, late again, yet still intact. I went on with the usual rounds of the morning: desperately trying to look for food and water for breakfast. Then tried to finish off some work tickets and problems, and codes, and other things. And then came some food (finally!) ‘coz it was the birthday of Miss Muffet. While little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet sharing her curds and whey, I got a cheer or two from my mom, my aunt, my friends on the web, that did not affect Miss Muffet in any way. LOL.

Lunch was free, because when we have a birthday at Parole School, we often have whole day celebrations starting with brunch, lunch, and then snacks. I guess you can say early afternoon was normal, but the rest of the afternoon was a delight!

See Mrs. Goose decided to give Miss Muffet a treat, including Little Lulu and myself. You know where we went? :D We went to Portal West to (visit the Queen! jk) get a FOOT SPA. Can you imagine how happy I was? It was my first time, of course, and while getting my feet done I was losing the depression and tension. On a whim, I decided to get a pedi with bright ruby red paint! And then got something else done. LOL Secret!

Anyway, little ‘ol me was pleased after the event, that I skipped over to the great Mall where I bought the hub and kids nice fluffy pillows, and a secret or two for myself (again!). I felt like I was walking on sunshine – mainly because I never thought having your feet attended to would feel so nice and so refreshing!

So yeah, I have found another method of stress release. :) It costs approximately Php. 250.00 but I would not mind having to spend if it means that I can relax. My feet do look pretty, and I wish I got the color of the nail polish. I think I may also try looking at some of the foot soak or that thingamajig they had me plunge my feet into.

What I learned today is that paying attention to your feet is also a good thing. They are not just stems that allow one to get from Point A to Point B. And I learned that pampering even just your feet can be a huge pick me up. :)

Dear feet, thank you for being pretty. LOL I shall remember to take better care of you, and try to make you retain your current refreshed look.

Dear Mrs. Goose, Miss Muffet, and Little Lulu, thank you for the company girls! ;) I hope maybe we can do it again next time.

… yes, I did have a better Friday. I hope you had one too!! :)
