I like lists. Unfortunately, I do not think I am that good at making them or at least coming up with things to list about. So I have to rely on the powers of others who make lists and then I just selfishly copy their ideas and post it. As of late, the powers of the great Chin Almighty have been my source of conjuring up lists, so I will make a double hitter and post two lists of 5 that I am more or less lifting from Chin. So here goes…
5 Things That Have ALWAYS Been True About Me
This is tough. I do not know myself well enough to list this, but let’s just take a whack at it huh?
- I either look intimidating or “maldita” on first impressions. I cannot help this coz my eyebrows are structured that way. They make me look angry or something like that by default. LOL Oh wait, I have a something close to a mono-brow, so I think you get the idea. I will always look this way to those who do not know me yet.
- I talk fast and type fast. Somehow I have yet to learn how to speak slowly, especially when I am trying to explain and when I am hyped up. Yes, yes, deep breaths! I know. But do you know what makes me even talk faster? When I am nervous or when I am speaking in public, then you will see me talk as fast as the wind.
- I love Bugs Bunny. No other cartoon can make me feel the same way Bugs does. We have this inner connection that I believe was created by the fact that we have the same birthday, and that I do love his smartypants personality and … well, okay, just about everything about him. I <3 Bugs Bunny forever!!
- I like flowers, specifically roses. There is something about flowers that just makes me smile. It could be because my grandmother had a nice flowery garden and I just love spending time in the garden – although not when she wants me to attack the weeds. heh. When I have a house of my own, I am going to have a garden where I can try my best to channel my greenthumb (if I have one).
- I’m childish. I have been told again and again that I am childish. I am, and I guess I will always this hyped up or… childish to a certain extent. What amuses me is that when I was younger, say elementary or high school, peers hated my childishness, and they kept asking me to stop it, stop it, stop it! These days, my childishness is still there, but maybe not totally, but the interesting thing is that this trait has somewhat been one of the memorable things that people remember about me, and some even say they like it about me. LOL Maybe because I have toned town the annoying part? Oh well, this is me.
5 More Things I’d Love to Do, If I Can
There are a lot of things we would love to do if we can, so here goes five things I would love to do if I could:
- Fly. Yeah, that’s not possible, is it. Can you blame me? I have always had dreams of flying. Although I have yet to enjoy a freely flying dream, most of my dreams involving flying are those wherein I am just close to the ground and I am flapping my arms, kicking around trying to get height, but hey, that says something right? Incidentally, that dream has a meaning:
- “Flying or Floating at Low Altitudes: Floating just above the ground by flapping your hands or arms or peddling your feet is an indication that you have lots of determination and that no matter how hard it gets, you feel you will succeed if you stay on course. This dream is an indication that relief from any setbacks is imminent” (I lost the source, sorry).
- Watch movies. I have always loved watching movies, and sometimes I just want to find time to sit down and watch a movie or two. Hopefully one of these days, I can sit down with D and do our Saturday thing again: movies, chips, and drinks.
- Paint or draw on a white wall. Lately, I have this urge to find a pristine white wall and vandalize it or draw on it. I could paint it with pretty colors, splashes and splotches and zigzags galore! Quick! Point me to the nearest white wall and gimme paint!
- Dance dance dance. I like dancing. In fact, if the ground did not shake whenever I dance, I would do it on a daily basis. However, I have to resort to just jiggling in my seat or waving my hands because I am shy. Back when I was in the old house, there wasn’t a day that I would not be dancing, maybe I should dance in the bathroom again.. LOL Gah! I might slip. Nevermind.
- Ride a motorcycle. I have a need for speed. Maybe that’s why D is not so sure about getting a motorcycle because he is a bit concerned about the speed when I drive. Okay, yeah, I can borrow the motorcycle at home, but I sure would like to hop on a motorcycle right now and just drive to Ayungon or Bayawan… just out of town.
