I think I have mentioned Pareng Dan in previous posts, yes? But you wanna know a secret? I actually have never met him in person… well, that was before last Saturday. Yeah, I am one of those people who have a lot of friends online. In fact, I treat friends online as friends in real life. I guess that would be the chatter in me that makes it easy to make friends online.
Anyway, I finally did get to meet Pareng Dan last Saturday (after my grueling day at school because of my final exams – don’t ask). He was bringing the blown up pictures that a couple of friends and I had up for an exhibit at Beyond Art’s Sake, and at least for me, it was like a meet and greet of one of the people who have inspired me, not only in life but also for art’s sake.
See, Pareng Dan is a gifted artist and has definitely some interesting views on life. A true artist at heart, I believe, and has somehow been blessed with enough grace to just take on anything. I totally consider him cool (but don’t tell him that please
).
Anyway, when we met at McDonalds, he got me a few things aside from the blown up pics, which i totally totally love! Check out the goodies he passed on to an aspiring artist such as moi:

Pareng Dan got me to sign my own photograph, as he thinks I might go somewhere with my photography. LOL Well, I hope so. So if by now you are curious as to what Pareng Dan looks like, here he is:

The shot I am sharing is not exactly full portrait ‘coz he says he has demon eyes and those who will look at his eyes will burn at the sight of him. LMAO Nahh, not really, nor is he cross-eyed, mind you. I guess he doesn’t want the world wide web to know what He-Who-Cannot-Be-Googled looks like.
Thanks for the goodies, Pareng Dan!! See yah on the webbie or in IRL.
Dan still owes me the font! Hehe.
LOL forwarded your comment to his email
as a reminder.
