The Rat in the Year of the Ox
Technically, today is still part of the year of the Rat. See, the Year of the Ox begins right about the 26th of January this year. So I am still enjoying the last bits and pieces of my year – by now it should be a bit obvious that I was born in the year of the rat.
Last year, they said it would be all prosperity for the rat. At first, I said, “oh yeah! I can feel it! I can feel the power!!”, but it changed. It went down into a virtual slump right around February till June last year. Then things began to pick up… Finally, it reached it’s climax or so in December. Though I did imagine raking in a cool $100,000, and what I earned was nowhere close to that, I still feel like I left a prosperous wake last year.
Now this year is the Year of the Ox. Curious as I am, I hit the Internet and checked out what might happen this year. I was a bit surprised with what I found out and compared that with how I truly felt at the start of the year – even though, I repeat, the Year of the Rat has not ended yet.
What’s in store for us rats this year?
- tranquil times
- health will be reasonably good
- love highlights towards the end of March
- great friendship mid year
Just bits and pieces. None of that huge forecast stuff. We would not want to spoil our year, right? Who knows these things may not exactly be correct. Or it could be. 
Hmmm… I’m loving the “love highlights” at the end of March note…. *wink*
