I know, I know. I should be asleep. I did try to sleep, you know. But as I lay in bed, I could not manage to get my eyes to close. Oh the bed was so soft and inviting, and in usual situations I would fall asleep within the first 10 minutes of lying in bed. This time, I am not as fortunate.
At least, now I think I can do the things that I ultimately need to do before the tomorrow ends. Seriously, I have lots to do. I need some kind of power cord attached to me. However, before I do exactly what I am supposed to do, let me unload my weary mind and blog the things I need to remember before I forget. Seriously, Gerard’s power is THAT strong, it affects me even if I have not seen my friend in over a month. Yeah, he did not even go to my grandfather’s wake. Oh well.. must have been so busy.
Here are my snippets:
- Do you know how to do time management? I think I s*ck at time management. I am a complete and total mess. Sure, I have a planner of sorts, but since it is quite bulky, I cannot exactly tote it everywhere. I used to be on top of things with my Google calendar, but since my hands are tied at camp minus prison, I need to find alternate means.
- Do you have excellent focus? I must admit that I am not the most focused person on the face of the earth. I do, however, know for a fact that I am not alone. I read ZenHabits like crazy as well as Dumblittleman. And for a time, when I read those blogs, my productivity was at the top! Top, I tell you! Now, not so much.
- Do people shoot you down when you have a dream? Ah well, these days I do despise pessimism, and somehow every time I have this goal, somebody (not D or the kids) shoots it down. I do understand that these people think that I cannot do it. Well, they are wrong.
- Do you sing everywhere you go? If my already confused mind is not busy enough with things that I have to do or things that I am FORCED to do, then it is busy singing itself to death. I wish it would stop doing that sometimes since I think my mind really needs to clear up. Ohmmmm.. Perhaps yoga would help. Yes?
- Do you like self-help books? I love self-help books. Not that I feel that all the things that are being said are true. And Ehn does have a point when she says that if we cannot help ourselves, how can others help us? Still, I like them because it has helped me a lot.
I help me by listening to what they have to say.. blah blah blah
Okay, thoughts drained. I think I have some more to say, but another topic. Another blog post shall be written.
P.S. Do you have a melodramatic streak in you? My mom thinks that drama is overrated, but I believe that we can indulge in drama every now and then so that we can clearly distinguish the drama in our lives from the happiness. Otherwise, it is all drama to me.
