Madam: I did it MY way

Okay, things have quite gotten a bit interesting at camp minus prison. Seriously, one madam is going nuts and is shooting EVERYBODY. EVERYBODY I  tell you! Heck, she is not a serial killer, but she has become one spree killer. She is taking everybody down in one big BADABOOM! Dramatic much? But that, my friends, is the truth.

I would be a fool if I claim these complaints as my own, but heck, everybody else is laughing out loud. Well, in my humble  opinion, at least she is taking everybody down in one huge blast. Surprisingly, after the spectacle of me and my mess, I am still intact.

Yesterday, while we were in the intense state of boredom after being in a pseudo-solitary confinement state, madam motioned for us inmates to approach her one by one. [Un]fortunately, my mind was busy doing things by itself, that as soon as the first inmate made a move towards madam, I started singing, “…and now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain..” To my feigned dismay [as if na dismayed], little poil joined in and sang with me! Next thing I knew, the whole department burst into song,  and we all did the Can-Can in honor of madam.

Okay, obviously that was just made up – us bursting into song I mean. See what boredom and information overload can do to your brain? Anyway, Poil and I actually did sing a bit, and we ended up completing the whole Frank Sinatra song.. which ironically became fitting of our current predicament as we face the spree killing of madam.

Just so you know, I did a Google of “Funeral songs” and I ended up on a website which cited “I did it My Way” as a funeral song. Perfect, right? Anyway, for those who can understand what we are going through, here is the whole song with some edits and side comments. Pardon me if I include some bisaya words.. It just does not  retain the humor if I take away the bisdakness of it all.

Frank Sinatra’s “I did it My Way” side comments my way.. ;)

And now, the end is near; /* must be sung on our way to madam… dead people walking*/
And so I face the final curtain. /*formal charge much? mao na ni!*/
My friend, Ill say it clear, /* tin! diz iz eet! */
Ill state my case, of which Im certain. /* awwwww… we know what we did.. that’s for sure..*/

Ive lived a life thats full.  /*madahan ug wla? we have a life outside camp minus prison!*/
Ive traveled each and evry highway;  /*awww.. daghan ta kaagi sa kalisod*/
And more, much more than this,  /* mas grabeh pa nis m3mo mga tin! much more than kalisod..*/
I did it my way.   /*ten days suspension (to all of us? ahh di pud?)*/

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.  /* I can so relate to this.. kamo pud no?*/
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.  /* ay but of course!! DIVERSION!*/

I planned each charted course; /*hmmm scheming.. scheming… resourcefulness!*/
Each careful step along the byway, /* caution when doing things MY WAY…*/
And more, much more than this,  /* mas grabeh pa nis m3mo mga tin! much more than kalisod..*/
I did it my way.   /*ten days suspension (to all of us? ahh di pud?)*/

Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew. /* daring na kaau.. super daring na gyud.. KEBS gud!*/
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out. /* carry ra tin? speed! faster faster.. for unlimited browsing*/
I faced it all and I stood tall;  /* awww if there’s a will, there’s a way!*/
And did it my way. /* ten days suspension…*/

Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried. /* of course! it was the only thing we looked forward to in camp*/
Ive had my fill; my share of losing. /* losing sites.. blocked websites…*/
And now, as tears subside, /* naka recover ra pud.. if there’s a will there’s a way..*/
I find it all so amusing. /* hahaha funny ghpn.. pramis! funny SIYA!! spree killer!!*/

To think I did all that;
And may I say – not in a shy way, /* mga bagag leps*/
No, oh no not me, /* mao nay tawag nga.. manigas ka!*/
I did it my way.  /* gahi ulo mam..*/

For what is a man, what has he got? /* “you are free to leave” ba mo?*/
If not himself, then he has naught. /* wala mo raket noh? naa mi.. */
To say the things he truly feels;  /* ayy watch out!*/
And not the words of one who kneels. /* buyag! dli ra pud ko mu luhod..*/
The record shows I took the blows – /* bayani po kami! char.. joke ra huh*/
And did it my way! /*mao na ni ginatawag dear friends ug “Massive Ten Days Suspension”*/

… I am truly drained. Later!!

Disclaimer: The side comments are totally my opinion. This is directed to a personal situation, not in any way connected with the esteemed Mr. Sinatra (i <3 Sinatra!). No Batallion Pitbulls, or Fault Finders, or Bordz, or whatever connected with these sentiments.. I just find it amusing. :) KEBS.
