Madam: I did it MY way
Okay, things have quite gotten a bit interesting at camp minus prison. Seriously, one madam is going nuts and is shooting EVERYBODY. EVERYBODY I tell you! Heck, she is not a serial killer, but she has become one spree killer. She is taking everybody down in one big BADABOOM! Dramatic much? But that, my friends, is the truth.
I would be a fool if I claim these complaints as my own, but heck, everybody else is laughing out loud. Well, in my humble opinion, at least she is taking everybody down in one huge blast. Surprisingly, after the spectacle of me and my mess, I am still intact.
Yesterday, while we were in the intense state of boredom after being in a pseudo-solitary confinement state, madam motioned for us inmates to approach her one by one. [Un]fortunately, my mind was busy doing things by itself, that as soon as the first inmate made a move towards madam, I started singing, “…and now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain..” To my feigned dismay [as if na dismayed], little poil joined in and sang with me! Next thing I knew, the whole department burst into song, and we all did the Can-Can in honor of madam.
Okay, obviously that was just made up – us bursting into song I mean. See what boredom and information overload can do to your brain? Anyway, Poil and I actually did sing a bit, and we ended up completing the whole Frank Sinatra song.. which ironically became fitting of our current predicament as we face the spree killing of madam.
Just so you know, I did a Google of “Funeral songs” and I ended up on a website which cited “I did it My Way” as a funeral song. Perfect, right? Anyway, for those who can understand what we are going through, here is the whole song with some edits and side comments. Pardon me if I include some bisaya words.. It just does not retain the humor if I take away the bisdakness of it all.

Fiesta hung over
Yesterday was the city’s fiesta. No, I did not eat and eat and eat. Well, of course I ate! Oddly enough, I felt as stuffed as I could feel after eating just a small amount.
However, I still feel like I have been run over by a truck twice over. Fancy that?
After looking at all that pork yesterday, I chose to eat fish (tinola) last night. I do not think my body can take any more pork after that. LOL Nevertheless, I would like to that the Lord for the food he bestowed upon us yesterday and today. Other people are going hungry elsewhere, and we are fortunate enough to partake of the delicious food.
Mmmm… foooooood.

Little Girls Grow Up Fast
Oh how time flies…
Last Sunday, my little mermaid (Sophia) and I went with the people, who live up the hill, to the beach. Oh she had so much fun alright. She kept begging me to take her to the beach that very instant. What mother could say no?
Unfortunately, for the lack of a digital camera, I was unable to take pictures of my little mermaid as she splish splashed all over the place in her pink swimsuit. Nevertheless, I realized that I have not posted any pictures of her lately, and so I have decided to put show you of how she has grown.
She will be turning 3 in a couple of days… December 12 to be exact. *ehem* reminders to all the ninongs and ninangs.
Anyway, I tried to check as to what astrological sign she falls under – so I can justify her love of water. As it turns out, she is not exactly affiliated with water. Her element is Fire, like me. She is a Sagittarius. So far, from what I read, the “associated traits” of a Sagittarius fit her to a “T”. Indeed, she is, in my humble opinion:

Saturday = Date day
To some people I know, SATURDAYS are DATE days where they are set to go out on dates with their significant others. I found this odd at first, since most of these couples see each other daily, but that was until a friend explained to me the importance of the Saturday Date day that I began to wonder if a Saturday Date day could happen to us too.
Okay, so some Saturdays I have to work late, and in most cases, I actually just have to work everyday. I do remember a couple of months ago where D and I would set Saturdays for Movie nights. We really cannot have dates or go out for now since nobody can watch the kiddoz, but for a good while, those weekend movie nights made my weekend spectacular. I think we might have to bring that back starting tonight. The Dark Knight has been sitting on top of our DVD player for three days straight now. I was supposed to watch it last night, but I fell asleep! T_T
No, strike that. D and I were supposed to be chatting and catching up last night and when I put Frankie to sleep, he did ask me to stay awake and just get out of bed as soon as frankie was asleep. In a typical fashion, yours truly slept before the little boy even closed his eyes! T_T I do wish to make it up to him later on… You could say that lately I haven’t had time for him – plus what with the hectic life I was living for the past two weeks of just coming home, changing, and then flying off again. He is patient through it all – although it could be very hard trying to manage the two tots. *sigh* I will make it up to him somehow.
Perhaps one of these days we will have our own Saturday Date day, yes? I do hope it will be soon enough.
Okay, this will be me posting again in a couple of minutes – hopefully.
