Perhaps today is the perfect day for me to say that “all hell broke loose.” It is not an indication, however, that I have suffered from major setbacks, problems, and whatnot. It is rather trivial really, but it seems that I have developed a liking for the Machine.

Yes, dears, it has finally happened. An ironic situation really – I got caught. Suffice it to say, that Tito Jude’s beloved website perhaps carries a bug or two, and it is because of that bug that my not-so-stealthy self has been caught between the electric wires the Machine has set up. Gah! I should have seen the signs, some other Peeping Tom came up to me a couple of days ago about a virus, but I just ignored him. Obviously, it was the said website as I was not exactly accessing any other webbie… *hmmm..*
The conversation between the Machine’s Peeping Tom and myself was quite simple really. It went something like this:
<Peeping Tom> Hi
<Myself a.k.a. Sociopath> Hi
<Peeping Tom> Please minimize access of non-work related sites
<Sociopath> Okay…
<Peeping Tom> We keep detecting a virus..
<Sociopath> I see.. okay.. noted.
<Peeping Tom> It could be due to the ads in the website..
<Sociopath> Ah okay. Thanks.
<Peeping Tom> Okay.
Small and direct to the point. I actually imagined screaming text when Peeping Tom decided to end his voyeurism. But no, none of the violent reactions I was expecting. Kind of a let down really, as if that had happened, I believe I might be a blubbering mass of tears and gut by now. Or maybe not. Instead, an appalling reaction became the initial thought. I like the Machine and his Peeping Toms. An incredulous thought, especially since it came from one of prison camp’s leading ragamuffin renegades.
Somehow, I honestly have no remorse over what transpired. If anything, I think I am secretly pining for that flaming red paper that awards me “staggered days off” from work. It is like I am posing some kind of dare to the Machine and that incomparable Dementor. I couldn’t care less really. If they’re going to do it, might as well give them a reason to, eh? Damascus’ sword still hangs above me, but I do not care. Let it drop for all the bloody world to see!
Oh dear, I take it this is a sign that I must bid adieu to my beloved *cough* prison camp, isn’t it? *sigh* Very well. It is time.

Pero ikaw, murag prisohan ng gud nuon kay pila naka kayears dira… pero you are earning there, lurch. For someone who is working for like 3 years or so in a company, one may call it a home na siguro.
i read one entry sa blog ni bo sanchez and he said, “If you don’t want your job anymore, stop complaining… why stay? get out!”
Lurch, i know unsa kalisod sa ***… nakaexperience man pd ko sa kalisod didto especially when you handle a big process… dli sayon. pero thankful man pd ko sa experience. no offense lurch ha… just my opinion…. PEACE!

Sayang… but give them a few weeks…teehee you can fool them again!
@rhardo: gah..ive always been ready.. just not the right opportunities. I cannot really favor a jump outside since I have mouths to feed. But I admit, Bo’s quote – wherever did you get it kay wla ko kita – is true, and I wish I could follow it right away… … … … … might as well be another post da. wahahaha
@z: maota ka.. dli ra pud ko..

Hehehe. Those peeping toms are actually nice but they still do the Unimaginative Shoemakers’ bidding.
Same sentiments of abandoning ship in the soonest possible time. I’m readying my new cruise ship.
To Rhardo… I agree with you that there are also things to be thankful for in ***. This is coming from someone who got out and went back in again. But still, the life in *** is not the one I dream of living for eternity.
I know, lurch… u need that job. and by the way, here’s the link of what I just quoted (though not the exact line): http://bosanchez.ph/do-you-want-to-survive-think-like-an-entrepreneur-2/
