AAAAAAAND we are back in business!
In case, you, my friends do not know what I am talking about, I am talking about my oh-so-lovable barkada (group of close friends), The BuLuYaGoNz!!
I’ve had a link on my blogroll pointing to our old website, but that has been neglected for years.. and now, we have finally managed to put something together for the sake of reconnecting our wires.
Guys and Gals! Friends and Pals! Meet the BuLuYaGoNz!!
*i would have a picture here – supposedly. But something has gone wrong with our host.
see, these are not the buluyagonz in complete attendance. just a mere few.. now, don’t you see what i was talking about..? who in the world can offer smiles like that (teeth and gums showing). hehehe the perfect picture of fun.

I am very happy today. Despite everything that has gone awry in my life – and perhaps this is not exactly counted as a blessing, but I believe that a blessing is anything worth giving thanks for. And though I believe that what came to me today is rightfully mine, I still give thanks to the great One above for His mercy, His grace, His kindness, and for His care. For without Him, I know I would be lost.
Yes, it does not seem like it is me if I become so “Holy.” But I am, really. I just don’t flaunt it much. I am not like others who go out and preach but become a great hypocrite of the things he or she says. I am me. I have my thoughts on the matter, and I will share them whenever I choose to. But I would rather not speak out as much for I might just eat my own words.
Today, a thorn was taken from my heart. And it has made me immensely happy. Thank you, Lord!!!
It seems that from my little nook’s corner, I am beginning to see people who are becoming more and more interested in working at home. And from a traditional place
where I grew up from, this is a HUGE improvement.
Growing up in this little town, I pretty much thought that when you work, you maintain one job and one job alone. And THAT means that you have to land the perfect high-paying job in order to survive. Either that or you catch the next plane out of here. The thing is, I don’t really want to leave this quaint little town. It is simply perfect for me. It looks lazy, but underneath is a bubbling commotion contained by years of poise and constraint. Seriously. We are talking of a place so small, yet once had almost up to 60 Internet Cafes. A place so small people tend to ignore it, but is actually up-to-date in terms of technology.
And now, Working At Home has entered its portals.
In my quest to do well in life, I have dabbled in a little of this, a little of that, basically online – since I live and breathe on the Internet – and have earned numerous criticisms on the way I have chosen to provide for my family. Although there were a couple who have understood my tactics and have asked for my assistance so that they, too, would experience the same joy I have on working at home.
However, I do not solely work at home. I am, perhaps, a hybrid of the traditional and the modern. A full-time working mom who works at home, too! Why I choose to live like this is of my choice alone. I have fallen victim to Work At Home Scams that well, sometimes can be the downside to working at home. And so my first piece of advice is this, if you have a family who relies heavily on you, you have to have a job that you know can deliver the goods on time. Something stable that you know you can count on on the dot. But don’t let me stop you. If you feel working at home is the thing for you – like I do – then hop on board and let’s get on with the show!
Okay, so here it goes..
Dec. 8 was Live’s big day. I made such a fuss a few days before that because I was so excited to the point that I had purchased materials to enhance my beauty or point out my flaws. I also went ahead and purchased a new dress for that matter!! Why? Because Live specifically said that we were not to wear any form of pants. Me, being so obedient, bought a purple-pinkish type of dress that really, really, REALLY flattered my *uhmm* gifts. LoL (which is why I bought a white lacy-type spaghetti strap to appear a bit modest of God’s gifts). So anyway, in addition to my crazy purchases, I also bought shoes that were not exactly the perfect fit but were juuuuuuust a bit right.
So! At this point, I was not the only one who fell victim to the whims of the bride. Oh yes, there were others. Among the others, there was Chrissie Pooh, Ibby, Daphy Duck, and Carmilita. The four ladies plus yours truly made the 5 ugly-turned-human-ducklings. And what pretty *ehem* humans we turned out to be!!
As promised, here are some pictures:

Oh the wedding was a BLAST! I almost cried when Live, all donned and looking more beautiful than ever, walked down the aisle. It was oh so romantic… memories still threaten to make me tear up. *sniff*The food was a delight! Although there was a bit of trouble – but what wedding does not have a glitch or two eh? Other than that, everything seemed to fall perfectly in place. We were enjoying every minute of it.
After the wedding and reception, the marias went around town and settled at Jo’s by the Sea. There we ate Halo-Halo (even after just leaving a wedding reception). hehehe.. by the time we finished more photo ops and other laughs by the sea, we headed home..quiet and VERY drained. Happy nonetheless.

See.. so.. nice. *sigh* I dont know how to describe everything in detail… all I can say is that we were very very kilig over everything. LoL
Ciao!!
